17:00 Fine Arts Society of Peoria / en ligne (zoom)

Carlo Scarpa was a unique figure among 2nd-generation Modern architects, being at once deeply embedded in the archaic and anachronistic culture of Venice, and transforming this ancient place by weaving the most Modern of spatial conceptions into its material fabric. Through his work he forever joined those two worlds, constructing works that integrate, engage, and transform their place.
